General aim of the project: improved effectiveness of immunotherapy of oncologic patients.
Specific aim of the project: development of a personalized prognostic in vitro testing method for assessment of the effectiveness of immunotherapeutic drug before starting the immunotherapy.
Activities implemented during the project:
1. Research:
1.1. determination of lymphocyte sub-populations induced by the drugs,
1.2. determination of the activity of lymphocytes induced by the drugs,
1.3. identification of the drugs' induced expansion of the lymphocytes in individual sub-populations and determination of their activity in different groups of oncologic patients,
1.4. development of a personalized prognostic in vitro testing method of the effect of immunotherapeutic drugs.
2. Providing of public availability of the research results.
Expected result of the project. Personalized prognostic in vitro testing method for assessment of the effectiveness of immunotherapeutic drug before starting the immunotherapy for the use in the oncology. Detailed description of the method.

Results on 31th of August 2011:
1. Intriduced method for lymphocytes isolation from whole blood and usuage of the short term lymphocytes cultures,
2. Developed method for cell surface marker analyses,
3. Developed algoritm for the lymphoyte supopulations detection,
4. Detected the cytopathic dose of immunomodulators.
